What the site is
This site offers free information about UK solicitors, arranged by area of law. Each entry draws on what the firm publishes about itself, what its clients have said in public and our own selection criteria.
What the site is not
No law firm runs this site, and no legal regulator has authorised it. The pages are general information, not legal advice. Visiting the site creates no solicitor-client relationship with us, and we take no referral fee, arrange nothing for you and book no appointments. A firm’s presence on a list is not our endorsement of it.
Funding
Our income is the fee that some listed firms pay for Pro or Top, on a yearly or monthly basis. Each is labelled where it appears. We take no share of any firm’s fees and no payment per client, and no outside advertising runs on the site.
Hosting
Cloudflare, Inc. of San Francisco hosts the site, protects it from attacks and delivers its pages.
Names and marks
The names and logos of firms, regulators, law societies and accreditation schemes shown here belong to their owners. Mentioning one is not a claim that it supports the site.
